OSM Kenya is a local mapping community of both individuals and organisations using, contributing, advocating for, and interested in the growth of OpenStreetMap in Kenya.

OUR MISSION
To create a vibrant community of OpenStreetMap contributors and users in Kenya where members can exchange ideas and support each

To fully map the country on OpenStreetMap and to strongly advocate for its use within different groups such as government, universities, and organizations.
We will achieve this through:
OPEN MAPPING
Creating mapping
projects for various
regions within the
country and hosting
regular mapathons to
work on these
projects
CAPACITY BUILDING
Ensuring that all OSM
Kenya members are
well trained and have
all the required skills
to contribute to and
use OpenStreetMap.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Supporting organizations
with technical tasks such
as project management
on task management
platforms, data imports,
organized editing, and
training.
